In Australia today, there are over 160,000 members of Surf Life Saving Clubs. Over 30,000 of these people actively patrol our beaches, giving up their free time to make sure our beaches are safe.
Cape Paterson Surf Life Saving Club has a great family atmosphere, whether you want to help patrol the beach, compete in surf events, have fun in the sun, keep fit, or just come down and make heaps of friends and enjoy the social activities.

Working With Children Check
It is a requirement to have a Working With Children Check if you are a member at Cape Paterson SLSC and 18 years of age or older.  If you are 17 and turn 18 during the season, you will need to apply for a WWCC prior to turning 18, to ensure you can continue to participate as an active member (patrols, water safety). The check is free for volunteers and is now compulsory at our club for all Active and Associate Members.
Working With Children Check can be applied for here and your WWCC number + expiry (ideally photograph) should be provided to [email protected] before the commencement of the season.
More information can be found on our site under Working With Children Check
