FIRST aid and Advanced RESUSCITATION techniques

First Aid (FA) and Advanced Resuscitation Techniques (ART) are two awards, often taught together (referred to as ARTFA). These focus on out-of-the-water life support and medical management.
These are nationally recognized awards that fulfill units of competency (HLTAID011 & HLTAID015)

This is generally a 2 day course that goes over more advanced First Aid then what is taught in bronze, as well as how to use and manage oxygen, manage severe bleeds and more!

Entry Requirements:
  • Radio Operators Certificate or Bronze Medallion [Club Specific]
  • 15 years of age or older on day of assessment

Already done a first aid course?

You can port your existing qualifications across to lifesaving! Simply email a copy of your certificate to [email protected] and say who you are and what club you are from and they will add it to the system!
