Cape Paterson Surf Life Saving Club welcomes new members for the 2025/2026 season!
Across Australia, more than 198,000 people are members of surf life saving clubs, and around 45,000 actively patrol our beaches each summer, giving up their free time to make sure our beaches are safe. At Cape Paterson, our members are part of this incredible effort — giving back to the community while enjoying all the benefits of club life.
Being a member is about more than patrols. It’s about:
Membership Fees for 2025/26
Active Membership - $35
Nipper Membership packages (sign up before 19 December to avoid admin fees)
Each Nipper is required to have a parent/ guardian sign up as a member. Our Nipper Membership Packages allow for 1 or 2 Adults to be signed up as part of the same transaction. If you have more than one child participating in the Nipper Program, additional Nipper Memberships are provided at a discounted rate.

Working With Children Check
Cape Paterson SLSC and LSV mandate a requirement for each member 18 years + to have a valid Working With Children Check. The check is part of our commitment to Child Safety and is a requirement under law. It is free for volunteers if you don't already have one as part of your occupation. It is compulsory for all membership categories except for Social Membership.
Working With Children Check can be applied for here, and a copy of your WWCC card must be provided to [email protected] before the commencement of the season and participating in the Nippers Program.

- Making lifelong friendships and enjoying a great family atmosphere
- Getting involved in summer activities, surf sports, and fitness
- Having fun in the sun while making a real difference
Membership Fees for 2025/26
Active Membership - $35
- 13+ years old. Actively patrolling and current or proficient in at least one SLSA patrolling award or qualification.
- Actively contributing to the club; and/or
- An immediate family member of an Active Member or Nipper
- Access to our social events, including Sunset Drinks

- 1 Adult (Associate) + 1 Nipper - $135
- 2 Adults (Associates) + 1 Nipper - $170
- Each additional Nipper - $60
